Hmmm, all that huh? I always just thought that he was a comedian who uses the absurb, and yes sometimes corny, to illuminate some very serious issues facing us all.

Michael Moore is an agent provocatuer and a scum sucking douche bag who feeds on the crud that makes it way to the bottom of the pool. He takes factual information and twists it to make a point, unconcerned that the truth is not part of his method. Having failed as a journalist, he turned to film-making where money rules. Now a millionaire many times over, he dresses and wears 'ball caps' as part of his attored to prove that he is just 'Joe Blow' doing a service by bringing up points about issues that have not been made. His works, even though immensely popular, mine the worst in us by taking sides against those we have issues with, and he uses editing tricks, and corny aphorisms, music, and his voice over narration to make what really should be seen in a sideshow tent in a carnival, for it is freakshow at its best and muckraking at its worst. Being a populist has made him rich, but no matter how much money he grubs in, it will not, and can never, make him a person of worth. That takes integrity, and as far as I can tell, he has none.

What I find most interesting of all, is the fact that they chose to have a television over other "modernities", especially running water. I don't know because I am not in their circumstance. But if things keep going the way they are, we might be faced with this decision before long.
