Comcast.net web site was hacked around 8:00pm Wednesday night, as a matter of fact, and the best anyone can tell at this point, their whole dns was redirected to name servers in another country. This really looks ugly for Comcast and is a bad reflection on our country as a whole, because they are the biggest ISP in the U.S.
It is unclear at this point exactly how much damage has or will be done. If you use Comcast’s version of webmail and tried to retrieve your mail during the time of this hack, you were essentially sending your user name and password to a computer in another country. This could be a real mess. I would sure hate to be this network manager tonight.
